Why use POTO

Many people today have digital cameras and printers and are more than capable of taking pictures of their pets. At POTO we think this is great and the explosion of digital technology has meant everyday moments can be captured and retained for you to look back upon and enjoy. It brings the joy of photography to many more people.
POTO is not intended as a service to replace what you can do yourself. It is intended to offer a service that brings to an additional level of expertise and technological capability into the frame. Think of it like an ice skater. He or she can do some stunning moves effortlessly on the ice. This is because when we are all still in bed asleep they are training hard and also doing this day in and day out. We can all buy good ice skating boots but without learning the moves, how to balance, when to speed up and slow down it is a recipe for a bruised behind.
POTO has spent many hundreds of hours learning the trade, experimenting and often failing in practice. We didn’t give up and now we believe that we have developed something that can give you a level of photography that differentiates us from both gifted individuals and general photographers. We continually seek to better understand the behaviour of our subjects, innovate in the composition of our images and steal shamelessly the knowledge and equipment of the world of wildlife photography. (We do pay for the equipment!)
We want you to be delighted with our images and if you are considering engaging us then please don’t take our words. They can be very cheap. Look at the gallery and see if we are living up to our words as at the end of the day it’s the image that matters.
